Come Christmas season PSVR will be selling like cheeseburgers..
VR-tech simply can not be compared with just (PS)Camera or (PS)Move.
VR/headset is going to be the total immersive experience for gaming - documentaries - for amusement centers ( being trialed/used now ) - science/engineering purposes and yes for porn.
Also positively believe few film makers' out there will dabble and create a movie using VR for the simple fact there is also an affordable 360 degree camera available.
Yes PS/VR is definite...
Am going to see which retail outlets will offer the best bundle deal.
Same here, really enjoying the game.
Looks ok and fun especially for the kiddies but would be nice to see if they can "maybe" fix/reset the animation and add the correct weight/mass-to-movement per dinosaur ( the bigger, the slower ).
A new IP would be good to see.. but a lot of process is also involved before any new material ( especially the good ones ) gets the final approval for development.
Nothing against MS/XBox ONE making the pads in the same hue, but would be a struggle on some games that needs the exact color code ( yellow=Y, red=B, green=A, blue=X - small dotted code won't really help a lot in a distance ).
Both colors looks good though.
Excluding PC master race version -- Picked up PS4 version over XBox ONE because read some reviews saying the XBox ONE uses dynamic resolution to reach 1080p ( which in turn makes it a bit of a struggle to reach 30fps frame rate ) as opposed to native 1080p for PS4.
Also outdoor setting drops with XBox ONE ( 1728 X 972 ) as with PS4 ( 1792 X 1008 ).
Apex sounds very GranTurismo.. ( http://gamedesignreviews.co... ).
Gotta say Forza 6 is the Best ever of the entire series, tons better than Forza 2.
XBox ONE Forza 6 limited edition color scheme comes to mind.. only a tad lighter.
VR-headset is a gaming/general purpose peripheral unlike Move, PS4 camera or even a steering wheel/combo.
It has a greater sense of purpose as a device.
Nearly any genre of game and those outside of gaming realm like with scientific/engineering ideas can be adapted/modified with VR-tech in mind.
2nd screenshot of corpse with strange gooey white mucus/substance spooked me out.
Top stuff there from developer The Coalition!
Probably if you own all ( PC and console ) most likely the Oculus, HTC would be more of your priority.
But think nothing can beat Sony for easy/affordable access and experience VR first hand with PSVR.
Basic PSVR $280-300.
Am thinking a $280 base price could be possible.
IEM's ( in-ear monitors ) or what we usually called earphones back in the days will become popular with VR-headsets I think.
Some VR-headset brands even come with their own headphones - which I think is a no-no. It adds weight, gamers' don't have the option to use their preferable headphones/IEM's and what if the headphone suddenly breaks before the VR?
$95 is still quite expensive when there are a lot of better choices around. You can grab a...
Game is a creative process.
Made up of various minds/art departments.
So yes game is art. Some even can be considered high art.
PSVR will be the most accessible on VR-experience.
Samsung Gear VR for the Galaxy S7 mobile device will be used by aspiring film makers for it's 360 degrees and VR capabilities.
Never got to finish Heavy Rain on my PS3 because it broke down so am definitely going to buy this collection.
Story was quite compelling honestly and the graphics magnificent during it's time and even by today's standards, especially Beyond Two Souls.
Not much of a multi-player but even in solo mode I really enjoyed this game. It is tops!
Highly recommend it.
